Titan Reunion... sort of

Gar decided he wanted to show off. So instead of stopping and tagging his friend Gar jumped and did a hand stand on Kon's shoulders. "Tag Dude. Your it." He sprung off and started running in the same direction that Conner had been running in.

Kon was about to get back up when he felt pressure on his shoulders that felt oddly like hands before the vanished. The super got on his hands and pushed himself up before looking up to see Gar running, saying he was it. With a frown, he got up and began to ran after him. "Not fair!" he called out. "I tripped!"

The clone began to increase his speed, attempting to reach the green man.

"It's not my fault your big feet got in the way." Gar yelled as he continued running.

Tim kept his jacket close to his body as he moved outside. Bruce's words still clogged his mind. He wanted them to kill to survive? It was still too much. He couldn't do that...

He needed Kon.

Moving into the deeper part of the garden he heard yells and laughing something that Shouldn't belong in this place of emotional termoil. Ge took a few more stopped watching Garfield and Kon chase each other in a game. His shoulders slumped, how could they be happy?

How could they be happy?

Kon frowned before a playful smirk filled his lips. "I'll show you!" he yelled out, trying to pick up the pace. However, blue eyes spotted another figure in the garden and he began to slow. Upon seeing it being Tim, he stopped all together. He offered the other a soft smile before he saw the look upon his boyfriend's face. Worried now, he began to head over to the other.

"Hey." he said quietly reaching out to brush Tim's cheek with his hand. "Timmy?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. His eyes asking for the other to tell him what was wrong.

Gar turned when he saw Kon was not chasing him anymore. That's when he saw Red. He ran over to see if she was ok. Conner looked concerned.


"Are you ok Red?" He asked. He ignored Conner touching the other boys face. It was a boyfriend thing and he wasn't going to comment.

Tim felt so vulnerable suddenly with Kon caressing his face. He forgot how to talk, it hurt his throat. His eyes flicked to BB who seemed as concerned as Kin. Did he look that bad. He tried to pull his jacket tighter against his body as he tried to speak.

"Batman."

It seemed to be the current root of his issues.

"They took Batman." his voice cracked, he shouldn't be this upset. He was a leader, people looked up to him. He had to be perfect.

"And he said kill to survive." He shut his eyes, trying his best not to cry on front of BB. He had to keep up some semblance of appearance.

Kon waited patiently, though his worry increased as his boyfriend looked distressed. He barely took note of Gar as the other joined them.

"Batman."

And so much began to make sense to the clone. Though he was confused as to how the brooding hero had been brought up in the other's mind. Did he have another nightmare? Was he thinking of what batman would do if Tim survived? The super opened his mouth to ask when Tim continued. Blue eyes widened upon hearing that Batman was in this universe now as well. How the hell did they capture him? he thought, finding the idea so... so impossible!

Then Kon began to worry and grow a little angry. Did he say something to Tim? Make him question about surviving again? The hybrid nearly growled out.

"And he said kill to survive."

This was a bit shocking. The dark vigilante had given the ok? At least he knows it's better to live on. Kon thought before taking a good look at his boyfriend. This was why he was so distressed. His mentor had told him to do the one thing he believed he couldn't do. To tell him to do the one thing he learned not to do.

Without a word, Kon reached out and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend.

Gar looked at Tim sadly. He didn't understand completely but he did know that the Bats were the most controlled and moral hero's there were. The idea of killing probably made most of them sick.

He patted Tim on the back. "I'm sorry you struggling with this Red. I know it must be hard." He wanted to tell Tim that it was ok to kill when it was about survival. Animals killed to eat. Soldiers killed in war. And those were not murder. They were deaths, and they were tragic but it was the way of nature. But Gar knew that bats were stubborn and he doubted that Tim would listen to him right now. He wasn't in the right state of mind for that talk.

Tim shool lightly until Kon held him and Garfield spoke the words he needed to hear. He let out a muffled whimper.

"I can't kill, I just can't!" Tim's usually commanding voice failed him. He hurt, emotionally and physically. What was he to do? He couldn't die for Kon and Bruce's sake, but what about his moral code? Could he maliciously slaughter them? He knew he couldn't. He would be no different than the criminals that he sent to Arkham!

"I can't! I can't..." His voice chanted. Tim clutched Kon's chest and he buried his face it to the well toned chest. Ge didn't care, he let his shoulders shake violently as he tried his best not to undue his own mind. He needed his sanity, mental break downs werent healthy!

The clone's heart felt like it was breaking as Tim whimpered out the words he was dreaded to hear. What about their promise? Didn't Tim say he would live so long as Kon did? Tightening his hold on his boyfriend, he brought one hand up to brush through raven locks. The hybrid was afraid to even let go of the other now, almost worried that Tim would disappear into thin air or brake into thousands of pieces.

Don't leave me. Kon thought as he took in a sharp breath. He knew, of course, how hard this all was for the other. How he was in an internal battle. Hell, Tim could even loose his mind from it all! But- But Kon didn't want to loose him. He was the only one that made the hybrid feel the way he did. Made him feel so complete and... and like an actual person.

"Tim..." he whispered as he held the other close. "Tim..." It was almost like a mantra, for the sake of his own sanity and the hope to keep there Tim's anchored.

Gar frowned as Tim struggled to contain himself. "Kon you should take Tim inside and help him relax. I wanted to go to look at the training room anyway." He said gently. Tim needed to relax and have his emotions out to find his equilibrium in this new place.

Tim had to agree with the shape shifter, he nodded slowly but surely into the large chest. He tried his best to contain everything he felt but it was hard, really hard. His mind was telling him how wrong everything was, how wrong indeed. He was at a mental loss, what could he do? Forsake his morals or forsake his family? He could do neither, but both. He was confused, beyond so.

What was he to do?

Upon hearing Gar speak, the super nearly jumped. He had forgotten the other was there he was so focused on Tim. But when he registered the words and felt his boyfriend nod his head into his chest, Kon found himself nodding as well. "Yeah..." he said before releasing the embrace. He instead reached down to scoop the other up bridal style, with some effort since his super strength was gone.

"Let's go." he mumbled quietly before looking at Gar. "See ya later." he told the green man before he began to walk down on of the paths to head out of the garden. The whole while he kept a firm grip on the man in his arms, not wishing to drop him as well as give Tim some sort of security while he dealt with the mess in his mind.

Gar nodded and gave a kind smile. "Definitely see you latter guys." He watched them and knew they were good for eachother.
