As Alfred showed the two Avengers to their rooms, Steve merely glanced at his own before helping his hung over teammate to his own room. "Thank you Mr. Pennyworth." he said before removing his hand on Tony's arm to open the door. Once open he grabbed the arm again,, to keep it steady on his shoulder before heading inside. The room itself was quite nice. but his main focus was the bed.

Dragging the other towards it, he stopped short of the mattress and began to guide the other to it. "Why don't you lay down Stark?' he suggested, holding back a sigh and hoped the other wouldn't be grumpy and difficult. He wasn't going to hold his breath though.

Tony wanted to snap at the person lugging him around. There was somethig to be said for how annoyingly sweet the Patriot was. He didn't want help, he didn't need it. Now if this collar was off of his neck his suit would clean out his system like it always did. But no! No awesome dialysis for him. He'd have to wait it out like a simpleton.

"I.. got... This." Stark said, trying to push the man away unsuccessfully. His stomach churned as he fought off the nausea that threatened to make him revisit digesting food. He made a noise, between a choke and a heave noise before he manuals kept himself from throwing up on the hero.

And grumpy and difficult he was it seemed. Steve rolled his eyes at the billionaire's stubbornness, knowing very well that he could not. "And I'm a communist." he said with a snort before tried once again to help the other to get on the mattress. He grimaced a bit at the noise that came from the other. Was he going to throw up? "Just get in the bed Stark and I'll go find you a bucket." he said, moving his own body about to make it easier for Tony to get on it.

Really why did the other have to be so difficult with this? It wasn't a crime to get a little help when one was sick or hungover. We're teammates. It wouldn't kill him to depend on me just a little. he thought, a little saddened by it all. "It doesn't hurt to rely on others." he said quietly. Why was the other man so stubborn?

Tony shut his eyes, moving himself (regretibly with the Mr. Patriot's help) on to the bed. He made a noise, his stomach felt like it was rolling. Bucket? Bucket sounded fan-fucking-tastic right about now.

"it doesn't hurt to rely on others."

Tony moved his hand to his mouth, he could feel the burning bile in his throat. I didn't drink! Why am I...!

"Bucket!" Tony growled out through his fingers; he needed it now. He sat up slowly but as fast as he could.

Boy did Tony sound like he was ill. Just looking at him lying on the bed as he made those sick-like noises made Steve's own stomach churn a little. I almost feel sorry for him. But that's what he gets for getting drunk. he thought with a sigh. The super soldier jumped a little when Tony sat up with his hand over his mouth.

"Bucket!"

Steve moved into gear, looking about before spotting the bathroom door. He ran towards it, opening the door and moving inside. Spotting a trash can, he grabbed it. It was empty, which was good. Though not for long. he thought before running out for the bathroom and back to Tony. "here." he said, placing on the man's lap.

"Here."

Tony took the bucket, moving his hands to cradle the container. He took a few deep breaths, or tried before he proceeded to vomit into the bucket. He tried his best to not make a lot of noise and disgust the perfect man in front of him. He suddenly felt as vulnerable as a human; something he hadn't considered himself to be in a long time.

The Iron Man threw up around six more times before nothing more would come up (except for bile). His shoulders shook in effort to stop the heaving (or maybe he was silently sobbing?). He felt awful, times like these he needed to remember how much he really relied on his suit.

...

Na, he was totally fine without it. But, maybe not fine but he was better off than a normal human guy like him.

It seemed mere moments after the can was placed with the other that Tony finally let loose what food he had inside his stomach. Steve grimaced somewhat, though he had seen and heard far worse than someone vomiting. Okay, I feel a little sorry for him. he thought as he looked at the other with a bit of sympathy.

He didn't keep track with how much Tony vomited, only taking note how the other's body shook from it all. As the actually vomiting ceased, and only heaving remained, Steve approached the other and placed his hand upon Tony's back. He rubbed small circles in hopes to help sooth the other and bring an end to the heaving.

"Easy does it." he said as he rubbed the other's back. He did his best to not let his eyes look towards the trash can.

Tony shut his eyes as he felt the smooth circles being rubbed into his back. His mind was reeling, his stomach collapsed upon itself and his nose and eyes burned. The smell from the bucket in front of him was disgusting but it made him realize how alive, and human, he really was.

Fuck his life.

"'thing easy." Tony spoke with a slurred out voice as he dry heaved against into the trash can. His throat was burning from the bile that had burned the muscles in his throat. He felt worse for wear, he might have felt worse than he looked. But he couldn't say that, he always looked pretty damn fantastic if he said so himself.

He wasn't sure if the rubbing was helping any, for Tony still heaved and shook. And when he spoke, it was slurred and hard to understand. But Steve couldn't think of anything else to do. Other than get the hungover man a glass of water. But that would have to wait when his stomach was done trying to jump out of the man's throat. So instead, the patriot hero remained where he was, trying to help where he could.

"Let me know when you're ready for water." he said, letting the other know he was there to help. Whether Tony wanted his help or not. He clearly can't do much when he's like this anyways.

Tony nodded almost numbly, there would be time to get back at the American Super-Soldier later. Right now the buzzing in his mind and the burning in his throat was more than distracting. He didn't think he was going to vomit again and he was started to feel the need to drink something to get the fuzzy tongue from his mouth.

"Waer." Tony said, squeezing his eyes shut. He stomach was settling down at this point. The Iron Man was almost hopefuly, maybe even positive he wasn't going to throw up.

Upon hearing the request for water, at least it sounded like water, Steve stopped his rubbing and began to head back towards the bathroom. Luckily there was a cup inside, which meant he did not have to go searching for the kitchen. Who knew how long that would take. Turning the tap on, he felt the water to make sure it was nice and cold before filling the cup up most of the way.

Once done, he turned the tap off and left the bathroom with the cup in his hand. He made his way back to Tony and handed the man the cup. Then he grabbed the puke filled trashcan and moved it off of the bed. He tied the bag inside up to seal it all away, and help keep some of the smell from coming out. He would have to deal with it in a bit. But first he had to make sure Tony would be alright.

Tony felt the exchange happen. The caress of the cool plastic cup being switched with his loving, yet disgustingly warm trash can. He made a noise symbolizing the need to not have his trash can gone but the thought of water was fantastic. He placed the water to his throat and quickly downed the cup in under six seconds. The cool water went smoothly down, he could feel the cool liquid sending his receptors the feeling of water traveling down his esophagus.

"'anks." Tony mumbled out, offering the cup back to the S.H.I.E.L.D. operative. Once the cup left his hands he ket his body curk into itself as he fought the headaches that plagued his skull.

Steve watched as the other quickly drank away the water. He almost said something against it, feeling that if he drank to fast he'd only get sick again. But Tony was apparently very thirsty. As the cup was handed back to the super soldier, Steve nodded his head before offering a small smile. "Anytime." was all he said before moving back towards the bathroom. He figured the man could use another cup.

Filling the glass up yet again, he returned into the bedroom and back to the sickly billionaire. "Need more?" he asked, offering the glass. If he didn't, it could always be set on the nightstand. No harm done. At the very least, Steve was being helpful. Something he was glad about. It felt nice to help others out. Especially Tony. The man didn't take it as often as he should.

Tony didn't give a response to the Cap after he asked if he wanted more water. The man felt miserable, he wanted his God damn suit back. Or at least let them have his Extermis to filter out his blood faster than his liver could. Or something like that, his mind felt as laggy as a Mac 1, which had no processing abilities what so ever.

Tony made a groaning noise as felt his head throb with just the momentary idea of thinking about how to get out of here. Jesus, a man couldn't win in these situations.

When the other didn't take the water, he went to set it on the nightstand for later use. Guess he was fine for now. Well, fine s in he didn't need water. Tony didn't like fine at all. He looked like hell had tossed up it's lunch. And that was putting it nicely. With a soft sigh, he shook his head and rubbed his neck. Maybe he wasn't hung over? He looked more like he caught the flue.

At the man's painful groans, Steve gave a sympathetic look. Going over to the man, he placed his hands gently on Tony's shoulders. "Lay down Stark. I think you need some sleep." he said, his voice gently yet stern. He added pressure tot he shoulders to help the other get the idea of actually lying down.

"You might actually feel better after getting some proper sleep. Instead of being passed out from alcohol." He really did wish the other stopped drinking. It was bad for sense of judgment, reflexes, and it made the other ill. Not normally like this, but still. He'd rather the billionaire healthy and happy. See him sober and doing so much with his life. It was something the super soldier really wanted to see.

...because Tony was a friend. A teammate. An ally. These were natural thoughts to have.

"I... been sober... three days" Tony mumbled out, trying to relax but the pounding in his head wasn't helping anyone.

Sleep.

Yes, sleep sound perfectly amazing right now.

so that's what Tony Stark, the CEO of Stark Enterprises did. Knocked out in a horrible sickness filled sleep.

Steve blinked as the billionaire mumbled out about being sober. He wasn't expecting that. But he felt a little bit of pride at the other for not hitting the booze for three days. But then what made him pass out? he thought as he frowned deeply. Was Tony doing something else- no. No he couldn't think such a thing about his teammate. Tony may have been a playboy rich kid, but he did take responsibility for things. Except for the alcohol and he clear was being a little bit better about that right now. He certainly wasn't a liar when it came to that so Steve had no trouble belling the other had been sober.

So something else must have occurred. But what? The super soldier had no idea, and it bugged him. But there was no helping it now. With a soft sigh, he noticed the other had fallen asleep. The old 40's man grabbed hold of the covers, carefully maneuvering them to be out and over the sleeping hero.

Without realizing it, a soft smile had formed on the veteran's face. He watched the other for a moment before he realized he was staring. Shaking his head, his smile vanished and replaced with a frown. Glad no one was around. They'd might think I was a nancy boy or something. he thought as he backed away before turning around. He would let Tony sleep in peace.

Eying the trash can, he took the tied bag out before bringing the metal can onto the nightstand by the water. That way the sick man had something if he needed to vomit again. With that done, he took one last look at the sleeping man before moving to head out the door. He needed to find a dumpster for the bag in his hand.
